Hey Roland. Unfortunately no. Rsyslog does not resynchronize logs in the event of maintenance. In case of a reboot, it will log that there was an even that triggered a reboot.

Thanks for this article. I have implement it and it works fine.
But I have a question.
Is it possible to resynchronize the logs from a clients on logs server when this is was unavailable during a certain time (reboot, maintenance, …) ?
